What this notice covers
This notice describes what the Ministry of National Strategy website does with information about visitors, as the website is currently built. It is a draft: the ministry’s legal review, and the hosting arrangements, are still to be confirmed, and the notice will change when they are.
Information the website stores in your browser
The website sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, to remember whether you chose English or Amharic. It contains only the language code and is not used to identify or follow you.
The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not load tracking scripts.
Searching and browsing
Filtering the publications and news lists happens in your browser. When you use the site search, your search words become part of the page address, so, like any web address you visit, they may be recorded in the web server’s logs.
How long server logs are kept will be stated here once hosting is confirmed.
When you write to the ministry
If you email info@mopd.gov.et, the ministry receives your name, address and message as sent by your email service. This website has no contact form and does not collect personal information itself.
