H.E. Hikma Keyredin Mohammed serves as State Minister at Ethiopia’s Ministry of National Strategy. Her professional background spans public administration, human resource development, city management, and social affairs.
Before joining the ministry, she served as State Minister of Women and Social Affairs, where her work included women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the protection and wellbeing of children. She participated in initiatives promoting children’s online safety and women’s access to digital and financial services.
Her previous leadership positions also include Addis Ababa City Manager and Head of the Addis Ababa Public Service and Human Resource Development Bureau. These roles provided experience in government administration, institutional coordination, and public service delivery.
